Coming to Therapy

Coming to therapy does not make you weak, weird or wrong. Quite the opposite actually, it is empowering and for many clients the first step towards understanding themselves, the dynamics of their relationship with their own self and others, and how their experiences shaped and affected them. Reviewing past experiences with your therapist can be uncomfortable but gaining an understanding and learning effective coping skills/ practicing them even when it’s hard and building a healthier life are all signs of strength.


You look after your physical health (ideally), so why wouldn’t you look after your mental well-being?
